- In-Shā’-Allâh (God willing), we will continue practising the demonstrative pronoun /dhālika/ which refers to objects that are further away.

ذَلِكَ حَجَرٌ. That is a rock. |
مَا ذَلِكَ؟ What is That? |

|
هَـٰذَا سُكَّرٌ وَذَلِكَ لَبَنٌ. This is sugar and that is milk. |
مَا هَـٰذَا وَمَا ذَلِكَ؟ What is this and what is that? |

هَـٰذَا سُكَّرٌ وَذَلِكَ لَبَنٌ. |

مَا هَـٰذَا؟ هَـٰذَا حَجَرٌ. |
أَذَلِكَ قِطٌّ؟ لا،ذَلِكَ كَلْبٌ. |
